Mexican-American conductor Brian Holman brings a distinctive combination of musical depth, versatility, and international experience to the opera house and concert stage, with engagements spanning five continents. Currently Resident Conductor of Opera Laguna, he has collaborated with leading opera companies, orchestras, and artists around the world, from New York City Opera and the Lebanese Philharmonic to acclaimed singers including Nelly Miricioiu, Aprile Millo, and Jonathan Tetelman. Equally accomplished as a pianist and vocal coach, Brian has spent more than two decades working at the highest levels of the operatic and vocal worlds, earning international recognition for his artistry and most recently the Order of the Monja Blanca from Guatemala’s Ministry of Culture and Sports.
